Jen's dad was good enough to stay at our place to watch the dogs while in Germany.

He enjoyed exploring Boston on his own, he said the girls were good, but he did mention how Tara (the cat) isn't really nice to anyone. The girls and I have been trying to tell Jen that for a number of years now.

This is the Titanic, and all in chocalate. This is one of the oldest chocolate stores in Berlin and continues to be family owned.
When we checked out at the register, the cashier did give my 2 Barbies extra chocolates. I'm sure it was out of pity, but we did enjoy the choclates.

Check point Charlie in Berlin.

For those of you who might be wondering or noticed, I do have 1 Barbie each in my shirt pockets. I was in charge of taking care of them, orders of 7 year old Mabel.

The front of the Berlin Zoo.

A nice prom photo of Jen and I at the Berlin Zoo.

Jen, Mabel and myself at the Berlin Zoo.

This area in East Berlin, used to be a huge department store, owned by a Jewish family. The area has remained opened for years, on our tour, they said one of the family members of the department store was located in California, she received a lump sum of money for her family's store.

The government now owns it and plans to build on the land, but what to build remains undecided.

More photos of the wall.

The one street in which a portion of the wall, still remains.

The Brandenburg Gate at night.

The Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. The area now is filled with shops, shops of Starbucks and Donkin Donuts.

These are the only cars that East Germany had for many, many years.

The cars, now travel in a group of 4 or 5 giving tours around the city of Berlin.

Jen and I at the top of the Heilberg Castle, overlooking the city.

We are inside the Heilberg Castle, the castle was built in 1591.

Jen, Ingrid and Mabel in Heilberg, Germany
This is the walk, from their house to Brandon(the husband's) work. Along the way are tons of cows and horses. Just like Nebraska.

I guess I will get near water, if it's frozen.

Saffey missing her mom but looking good in her new outfit.

A few of the old rugby girls came out to visit this spring. On the left is Beth, Denise, Christy and in the very back are Sarah and Heather. We took them up to Manchester by the Sea to see the Ocean. On the left is Denise, Amy and Beth with Christy and I at the Samuel Adams Brewery. We are smiling even though our glasses are empty.

Here is Christy at Fenway park last year when we went out to visit. She was able to go down onto the field, but due to their discrimination to the go-go scooter, I had to stay behind. This shot is taken from the top of the green monster!

Christy works in the building on the left. Above her is the Celtics office. Maybe we can get some complimentary tickets! The construction is part of the big dig... Not a positive subjects with bostonians.

Pictures from the last year.... Christy's move to Boston. All of her clothes were packed on top of the car in a soft carrier. I think this was the only week it snowed last year.
